On every dimension of hearing-impaired children’s learning, we need your support—
Training teachers for the hearing-impaired,
Financial aids for hearing aids and cochlear implants,

Conducting hearing-related research,
Providing support to families in urgent need,
Supporting education and resource in rural areas,
And, connecting all sorts of resource so that children can share more care.

◎ Donation of toys, books and hearing aids

Toys your child no longer plays might add more fun to our teaching activities.
Books your child no longer reads might attract the attention of children with hearing loss.
Working hearing aids your child no longer wears could be keys for another child to enter the world of sounds.

◎ Collaborative projects
In the summer of 2000, we signed a Memorandum of Understanding with 亞太聽語科學基金會, of which Dr. Li-Rong Lilly Cheng served as president. Two foundations worked together to advance speech and hearing sciences in the Asia-Pacific region.
With the financial support from Ministry of Education, we have hosted the “National Talent Show by Outstanding Children with Hearing Loss”, and held professional seminars with various topics related to the field of hearing impairment.
When we held “Workshop on Amplification”, several domestic hearing aid companies supported us by providing instruments and equipment with no charge. Participants could therefore apply what was learned during the workshop and actually worked on the machines and devices.
Collaborating with The First Social Welfare Foundation and Music Therapy Association of Taiwan, we held the “Workshop on Music Therapy for Children with Disabilities”. Every participant was deeply moved.
With the support of Shing Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store who provided location, we hosted an activity called “Do the puzzle of heart with love—caring children with hearing loss”. As we promoted to care for hearing-impaired people, our children spent a warm and meaningful Christmas.
The collaborative online “Clinic of Aural Rehabilitation” with KingNet Second Opinion WebHospital is a huge step for us to extend our service to the internet. Billboard advertisements erected on the streets and in the alleys were sponsored by Clear Channel Taiwan Ltd. and many other companies.
Thanks to the financial support from Ministry of Education, Ministry of the Interior and Children’s Bureau, we were able to publish “The Ear Brothers” and “Guidebook of Hearing Conservation for Children”, and hold related seminars. Through the publications and courses, the care from the government could be spread out.

For years, we have worked with all kinds of institutions and organizations, and came up with activities and proposals of diverse subjects. Every collaboration became great experience for both parties. We need your company.
